Pop-Up Farmers Market
Where’s the Farm Truck?
Farm Truck 912 is on the move — just in a new direction!
This summer, we’re taking time to re-envision how we deliver fresh, local food to the neighborhoods that need it most.
Over the past several years, we’ve learned a lot from bringing produce directly to communities across Savannah and Chatham County. Now, with rising summer temperatures, we need to provide cold storage of products to ensure food safety and reduce waste. And with the increased costs of servicing and operating a large inefficient truck, we’re hitting pause to rethink and improve our approach.
Our goal? To create a more flexible, community-responsive mobile market model that puts families first — ensuring children, seniors, veterans, and neighborhoods with limited food options can access high-quality, nutrient-dense food at prices they can afford. This evolution means expanding our community partnerships, offering pop-up markets, CSA-style subscriptions, and collaborative events that meet people where they are — locally and at convenient times.
While the truck may be off the road for now, our mission is still on the move. We’re working closely with local organizations and farmers to build something stronger — together.
Check the calendar on our main web page regularly to see when we will be in your neighborhood, for local events, and Saturday Market times. Follow us on social media for updates and to learn more. Stay tuned as we roll out new ways to shop, learn, and grow with us. Let’s build a healthier food future.
